London Zoo is a historic zoo in the North of Regent’s Park,

home to the Zoological Society of London as well as animals of all sorts.

It has always had buildings of architectural interest and several of these have been ‘reinvented’ in recent years to suit the needs of a modern zoo, alongside modern new enclosures.

I’ve been visiting London Zoo since I was a small child and used to belong to their Young Zoologists Club (XYZ Club). The photos below are recent but I hope to add old pictures, some from the 1960s, when I have looked them out and scanned them.
