Hatfield House and Gardens
Hatfield House and Gardens
Hatfield House is on the East side of the town of Hatfield in Hertfordshire.
Originally there was a Royal Palace on the site, the child-hood home of Elizabeth I and it was in the park that she learned that she was to be crowned Queen. Part of the Palace still remains and can be seen at the top of the aerial view, right.
The House itself, (bottom right in aerial view) is Jacobean and still belongs to the Cecil family who had it built.
The aerial view shows the West Gardens.
