Forty Hall is a house of Jacobean origin, built in the grounds of the now long demolished Elsyng Palace, which was a Royal Palace in Tudor times, and now belongs to the London Borough of Enfield to the North of London, housing a local history museum and exhibitions.

The Hall itself is to the right in this aerial view and the grounds include a tranquil walled garden (left) as well as the magnificent ancient Cedar tree (lower right - do zoom right in!) and lake (top right) the other side of which is the avenue of trees that led to Elsyng Palace.
