Hever Castle in Kent was the family home of Anne Boleyn, Henry VIII’s second wife, and where she spent her childhood.

In the early 20th century, it was bought by William Waldorf Astor, who added a ‘Tudor Village’ behind the castle itself. He also added the wonderful Gardens in an area which was previously marshland.

The aerial view shows the castle itself, surrounded by its substantial moat. Zoom out for the ‘Tudor Village’ and more of the gardens.
