Sissinghurst Castle Garden in Kent was designed and created in the 1930s by the writers Vita Sackville-West and her husband Harold Nicholson. It is divided into separate sections partly dictated by the remains of the Elizabethan house, an older long-demolished moated manor house and some more modern buildings.
